Khalistani extremist Gurpatwant Singh Pannun, associated with the banned group Sikhs for Justice (SFJ), has issued threats targeting Hindu temples, including the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya. In a recent video, reportedly filmed in Brampton, Canada, Pannun warned of potential attacks on November 16 and 17. The video appears aimed at inciting violence against Hindu places of worship in India.

In his message, Pannun stated, “We will shake the foundations of Ayodhya, birthplace of the violent Hindutva ideology,” issuing a direct threat to one of India’s holiest sites. This video also includes footage of Prime Minister Modi praying at the Ram Mandir, which was inaugurated in January 2024 with thousands of dignitaries in attendance. Last month, Pannun had similarly cautioned passengers against flying on Air India flights and warned Indians in Canada to avoid Hindu temples in light of potential Khalistani attacks.
