Kanguva is one of the most anticipated South Indian films of 2024. The makers are going all out with the promotions. To celebrate Suriya’s birthday, the first single from the movie will be released tomorrow. The film’s OTT release will happen eight weeks after it hits theaters, ensuring a wide release of the Hindi version in national chains, unlike films like Leo, Jailer, and Vikram.

There’s a buzz in Kollywood that Suriya’s brother, the talented Karthi, will make a special appearance at the end of Kanguva. His entry in the climax is rumored to set up the second installment of the movie. Tamil fans are hopeful that Kanguva will be the first Kollywood film to cross the 1000-crore mark.

While making 1000 crores is a big deal, Kanguva could be the top-earning Tamil flick of 2024 if people from different languages like it. Disha Patani plays Suriya’s girlfriend in this expensive movie, which mixes old-timey drama with cool new stuff.

Bobby Deol plays the antagonist. Studio Green teams up with UV Creations to make the movie, and Rockstar Devi Sri Prasad does the music. Kanguva is coming to theaters on October 10, 2024.
