One of them is his father-in-law and TDP founder, late N.T. Rama Rao, revered for his transformative impact on Andhra Pradesh politics. The other is Ch. Ramoji Rao, chairman of the Eenadu Group, whose indirect support played a crucial role in the TDP's rise to power and who stood steadfastly by Naidu during challenging times.

Naidu has rallied his party MPs and cadre to actively pursue this goal, pledging the TDP's full support in the endeavor. Recently, during a memorial event for Ramoji Rao, Naidu underscored the responsibility of TDP members to ensure Ramoji Rao's deserving recognition with the Bharat Ratna.
