Kavitha, the daughter of Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao (KCR), has been in Tihar jail for over four months amid the ongoing Delhi liquor scam investigation. Despite her repeated attempts to secure bail, the courts have continuously denied her requests. However, KTR, her brother and Telangana Minister, remains hopeful that her bail will be granted soon. During a recent media briefing, KTR highlighted Kavitha’s deteriorating health, revealing that she has lost 11 kilos and is suffering from an illness.

KTR’s statements come in the wake of the Supreme Court's decision to grant bail to Manish Sisodia, a key figure in the same case. Sisodia’s release after 17 months has raised expectations for Kavitha’s bail. KTR's comments suggest that Kavitha's bail processing is underway, and he anticipates her release in the near future.

Despite this optimism, the court has yet to approve Kavitha’s bail petition. As of now, the legal proceedings continue, and her release is pending the court's final decision.
