For the past few weeks, Dil Raju's proposition of blocking notably high number of theaters for dubbed film, Varasudu featuring Vijay has been a topic of keen discussion in Tollywood circles. Veteran and season producer Suresh Babu has commented about the same and here's his take on the whole scenario.
"I feel it is being blown out of proportion. We all need to understand that cinema has now crossed the borders. In Tamilnadu, they gave as many theatres as required for our Baahubali, RRR, Pushpa, etc, and at that time the fans & producers of Tamil films must've felt the same pain as how we are feeling now about the allocation of theatres for Sankranthi releases." Suresh Babu said.
"For this Sankranthi, Vijay & Ajith movies are releasing in Telugu & we have to give theatres to those films. Similarly, if our Pushpa2 or any other PAN India film releases for the next Sankranthi, they will have to give enough theatres for us. This is going to be a new norm and we have to live with it. There's no need to over analyse the current situation" Suresh Babu concluded.
He implied that there's no other option but to accommodate other language releases in this era of pan India films and super wide releases for other language films.
