Sravanthi Ravikishore's 'Kida' is the 'Best Film' at Chennai International Film Festival.

Prominent Telugu Producer Sravanthi Ravikishore's debut tamil production 'Kida' received a standing ovation at the Panorama screening of IFFI, GOA last month.
Extending the glory and appreciation, it has now won the 'Best Film' Award at Chennai International Film Festival and both the Producer 'Sravanthi’ Ravikishore and director R.A Venkat were rewarded with 1 Lakh of prize money each. Actor Poo Ramu from the film has also won the Best Actor Award.
'KIDA' is Produced by 'Sravanthi Ravikishore', directed by R.A Venkat and presented by Krishna Chaitanya. Poo Ramu, Kaali Venkat, Master Deepan, Paandiyamma, Loki, Kamali played major roles.
The Story revolves around a Grandfather, Grandson, a Goat and a sensible lovestory amidst all. It's a debut film for most of the technicians who worked in it.
In its 20th year now, Chennai International Film Festival is known to recognize talented artists, filmmakers and other technicians, highlighting their effort and contribution to the Indian cinema.
Despite the competition, the story, screenplay, performances and production values of ‘Kida’ impressed the jury enough to be selected as the 'Best Film' for the year.
Speaking on the occasion, producer ‘Sravanthi’ Ravikishore says, "Kida was screened in GOA IFFI this year and received standing ovation from the crowd. Extending the excitement, the Chennai International Film Festival jury has selected our film as the 'Best Film' amidst tough competition. We're very happy with the recognition and respect and are planning to release it soon."
Poo Ramu, Kaali Venkat, Master Deepan, Paandiyamma, Loki, Kamali and others played major roles in the film.
