Special day blessed for the film production house Vyjayanthi Movies, which recently released a film Kalki 2898 AD starring Prabhas. Today is the 22nd anniversary of the shoot of their mega project Indra, with Megastar Chiranjeevi. In mark of celebration, they have declared a special something for Chiranjeevi fans.

It was two years ago when Mega fans insisted that Indra, a popular hit, was to be reproduced. Vyjayanthi Movies responded positively: Well, dear Megastar fans, not only you…. We too… Are planning to release a 4K print of Indra… But it will take a long time for it to become BIG & GRAND.

Good news for Indra fans – the movie is lined up for a complete remastering and is to be released again on the 22nd of August, 2024 Chiranjeevi’s birthday. This 4K version is going to be officially launched and so, they are going to great lengths to promote it.

Directed by B Gopal the film Indra has Sonali Bendre giving company to the two beautiful leading ladies of South Indian cinema, Aarthi Aggarwal. There is a terrific music score by Mani Sharma and the story was crafted excellently by the Paruchuri brothers who also wrote the screenplay.
