The Telugu Literary and cultural Association (TLCA) of New York, New Jersey and Connecticut is one of the earliest Associations started in North America. TLCA was started in the spring of 1969 with the aim of getting Telugu speaking people in Greater New York area together. TLCA was registered as a not -for-profit organization in 1971.
