Rana Daggubati and Dulquer Salmaan have joined forces for an exciting multi-lingual film titled Kaantha. This collaboration between Rana's Spirit Media and Dulquer’s Wayfarer Films was officially launched today in Hyderabad, with Venkatesh performing the inaugural clap. The film, directed by Selvamani Selvaraj, is set to showcase Dulquer Salmaan in a never-before-seen role, adding to the anticipation surrounding the project.

The narrative of Kaantha is set in the 1950s in Madras, exploring the intricate dynamics of human relationships and societal changes during this significant historical period. Bhagyashri Borse will play the female lead, with Samuthirakani taking on a crucial role. The film boasts cinematography by Dani Sanchez Lopez and a musical score by Jhanu, and will be released in all South Indian languages.

The commencement of Kaantha’s regular shoot marks the beginning of an eagerly awaited cinematic journey, promising a rich portrayal of a transformative era in Indian history.
