JanaSena Party has been actively preparing for the coming election campaign in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana and the stage is being prepared for the same now.
However, in a new shocker to the Pawan Kalyan-led party, the Election Commission has removed the exclusive rights of the glass tumbler election symbol for the party, and the same was confirmed earlier.
The latest statement from the Election Commission is that the JSP has been stripped off the exclusive rights for glass symbol in the Telugu states.
JSP candidates who have the party B-form can use the glass symbol in the elections. They will be allotted the symbol if they have the documentation from JanaSena.
But in places where JSP is not contesting, the glass symbol will become an open symbol and it can be used by other candidates. In segments where JSP is not contesting, independent candidates can use the symbol.
